My goggles and eyeglasses are inspired by heavily machined aerospace and engineered structures and components. it is labor intensive but the reward is the extreme durability vs lightness, sturdiness and precision achieved.
Every piece on this website have been made combining durable and recyclable materials with traditional handcrafting and small scale engineering processes, involving zero non-recyclable waste and zero chemicals : brass alloys, aluminium alloys, stainless steel or even titanium for some components.
By contrast with the coldness of metals all goggles and eyeglasses frames are finished with hand stitched fine leather. it gives you this incomparable warmth and comfort non degradable over the years.
all materials are sourced in Europe, mostly from UK, France and Germany
special attention is given to my leather suppliers because of the very morbid and polluting aspect of the industry in general.
Here I only buy from artisans, having small scale farms and tanning facilities, located in England, Scotland, Britany and even locally in the Alps. Here the sheep have a very important role to play in the mountains (soil fertilizing, bush clearing etc...)
The result is a timeless optic frame entirely service-able, repair-able and at the end easily recycle-able or non toxic if lost in nature.
