The minimalistic form-following-function design leaves only the necessary details behind:
2 precision machined  rims are providing a very accurate support for high quality lenses. A soft leather and padding for a non-sweaty durable and comfy wear is doing the rest . By contrast commercial ski goggles are made of non durable and non ecological friendly plastics . They can't be recycled. Paradoxically the plastic padding is the weakest point being fragile and not serviceable.

All hardware on atomefabrik goggles are made of aluminium or stainless steel. No plastic again. If you love nature and mountaineering as I do, metal and all leather goggles are the only sustainable and durable way to go.
